Pitch2Grow – An AgTech Virtual Pitch
About this Event
Pitch2Grow, An AgTech Virtual Pitch Showcase is a chance for the global community to discover and experience some of the latest agtech innovations created in regional Australia, without leaving home.
The online event will be judged by agtech investors and stake holders from all over the globe.
How does it work?
Founders will submit 5 minute videos demonstrating their technology and discussing their approach to market. Appointed judges based all over the globe will watch the video demonstrations and score companies based on criteria including potential addressable market, quality of business model and readiness to expand globally.
Scores will be collected and the two highest scoring businesses will be awarded $7000 each to use to help grow their business globally, for example, an international grant application, a global ecommerce marketing campaign, Austrade reports, or an international trip of their choice (should global travel resume before the end of the year). Winning businesses will be required to report back on how they used their prize money and how it benefitted their business. All prize monies must be used by 31 December 2020.
This virtual event is open to producers, investors, students, researchers and the general public. Please join us online on or after 30 April 2020 to meet the startup founders, see their businesses in action and find out who wins.
