SMARTSessions: Introduction to the Carbon Credit Market Part 2 – Armidale
SMARTSessions: Introduction to the Carbon Credit Market – Part 2
Following the successful “Introduction to Carbon Credit Market” session delivered in November, the UNE SRI would like to invite you to a secondary conversation to dive deeper into the Carbon Credit Market. Toby Grogan from Impact Ag will run a session to share some of the research he has done into the Carbon Credit Market. Toby will discuss the different ways to access the market, and take the concept and high level numbers discussed at the first meeting and apply them to farm examples using over 10 years of local soil and farm management data.
Having grown up on a family farm Toby began his career over 15 years ago in the agriculture sector, working on sheep and cattle operations in southern NSW. After gaining a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Toby’s career exposure grew to include resource, infrastructure and government sectors across NSW, Qld, WA and NZ. More recently Toby has played key roles in large-scale environmental impact assessments, feasibility studies, remediation projects, due diligence and M&A across a variety of sectors and geographies. This broad range of experiences along with a passion for sustainable production of food, fibre and raw materials enables Toby to apply a broad and balanced skill set to Impact Ag Partners clients and projects.
